Store
Partner with us in our Store!
We utilize volunteers in our Store every Tuesday through Saturday. These volunteers help keep the Store clean and organized. They accept donations, stock shelves and load furniture into buyers’ vehicles. Volunteers with special skills test and repair items like appliances, electronics and furniture.
Special Projects
Partner with us on a special project!
Individuals and groups are needed to revitalize neighborhoods by painting, landscaping and making critical repairs.
Connect Team
Partner with us at community events!
Connect Team members attend festivals and gatherings across Kitsap County. They share the Kitsap Habitat story and invite others to become a part of that story. If you love connection and communication, consider joining this group of dedicated volunteers!
Construction
Partner with us on the build site!
Our construction team is ready to welcome new volunteers to the build site! Experienced and aspiring builders, alike, can help us build safe, decent, affordable places for Kitsap County families to call home. If you’re a contractor, plumber, or electrician, we’d love to have you join us! If you’ve seen a hammer but never actually used one . . . we’d love to have you join us, too! Sign up today!

FAQs
Do you accept court-ordered volunteers?
We accept court-ordered volunteers at our Store location only.
How old do I have to be to volunteer?
Store:
Volunteers at our store must be at least 16 years of age.
Build Site:
Build site volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 18 years of age.
When can I start?
The first step on your volunteer journey will be to set up your account using the “Get Started” button above. Once you have set up your account, you will be able to view the next available orientation sessions.
How long will I work?
Store volunteers are welcome to serve anytime the Store is open — Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Build site volunteers work from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. They take a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 pm.
Can I come late or leave early?
Store volunteers may work for as many or as few hours as they wish.
Build site volunteers are required to work the full day, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.
What about lunch?
Please bring your own lunch and water bottle.
The Store has a break room with a refrigerator and microwave.
The build site does not have these amenities.
Both the Store and the build site have water bottle filling stations.
How do I cancel or reschedule my volunteer day?
If you need to cancel your volunteer shift, please do so through your online account.
