Donations

Every Donation Counts

Every donation to Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County helps open pathways to affordable homeownership and preservation right here in our community.

When you give, you’re investing in stability and independence for local families who need a safe, affordable place to put down roots — and helping them build toward a future they can be proud of. Together, we strengthen the neighborhoods we all call home.

Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County shall make every effort to use funds as designated; nevertheless, under the direction of the board of Directors, Kitsap Habitat retains complete control over the use and distribution of donated funds in furtherance of its mission

Many companies match their employees’ charitable donations. Check with your boss or human resources department to see if your company has a matching program. Most often, all you need to do is complete a form, send it to us for verification and wait to see your impact on Habitat double.

More often larger employers are establishing “dollars for doers” programs, whereby the company will match their employees’ volunteer hours with a monetary donation to the charitable organization. If your company has such a program, don’t forget to submit your paperwork following your volunteer shift.
