Typical Items	We Accept	No, Thank You
Furniture	Upholstered or solid wood furniture, in good condition. Sofas, love seats, recliners, bookshelves, dressers, complete dining sets, high top stools, coffee tables, end tables, hutches & desks 5′ wide or smaller, metal bed frames only.	Furniture with rips, stains, odors, color faded, or pet hair. Office dividers, desks, or hutches larger than 5′ x 2′. Frame-less mirrors, entertainment centers, sleeper sofas, cribs, mattresses or box springs.
Appliances – 5 years old or newer	Refrigerators, freezers, free-standing electric stoves, washers, dryers, microwaves, range hoods, countertop appliances, household vacuums in clean and working order.	Appliances older than 5 years, built-in appliances incl. microwaves, stoves, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or water softeners.
Plumbing	Plumbing fixtures and Kitchen sinks without cracks, chips, or stains. Complete bathroom vanities and claw-foot tubs. Copper and PVC pipe and fittings. Compression hoses.	Toilets, used plungers, dirty sinks, used toilet seats, wall mount sinks, built-in or whirlpool tubs, shower doors, or used surrounds. Used compression hoses.
Cabinets & Countertops	Clean cabinet sets (at least 3 matching pieces) with solid wood or plywood fronts with all doors and drawers attached. Detached counter tops at least 4′.	Solo drawers or cabinet doors, lone lazy susans, custom-shaped counters, counters with cutouts.
Doors	Hollow core and solid doors in good, clean, like-new condition without alterations or damage.	Garage doors, garage door openers. Shower doors, Glass slider doors without frame. Doors with major imperfections (peeling paint, damage, mold) Oversized or commercial doors.
Windows	Clean double-pane vinyl or wood windows – undamaged, unfogged, without rot and in working condition, no larger than 5′ x 6′ in size. Curtain and tension rods. Window blinds – new and in a box.	Single-pane or metal framed windows. Vinyl shutters. Drapery, used blinds or other window treatments.
HVAC	Ducting, flashing, vents, fans, insulation (unused and sealed in original package), vents and wood stoves in working condition.	Items containing mercury, asbestos or other toxins. Carbon monoxide or smoke detectors, fuel, propane, or helium tanks.
Lighting & Electrical	Indoor and outdoor light fixtures, fully functional ceiling fans with all mounting hardware, new (in orig. package). LED light bulbs. Electrical supplies – such as boxes, switches, wires, and plates. Specialty bulbs and string lights.	Incandescent, CFL or fluorescent bulbs Damaged or incomplete fixtures.
Paint Supplies	New or gently used paint brushes, tape, rollers, trays, unused paint sticks, sprayers and drywall tools. Spray paint.	Used paint in unlabeled or unmarked cans. Paint-encrusted supplies.
Roofing	Shingles or tar paper.	Asbestos products, or individual shingles
Tile & Flooring	Clean, unstained rugs and new carpet remnants in usable shapes. Complete unopened boxes of vinyl, wood, or laminate flooring – totaling 100 sq. ft. or more. Unused tile of at least 100 sq. ft. or more. New carpet padding of at least 100 sq ft. or more.	Used carpeting or stained vinyl, wood or laminate cutoffs. Previously installed flooring. Used or opened adhesives/ grout.
Antiques, Art & Home Decor	Antique home goods and furniture. Home decor and art items.	Linens/bedding, towels, draperies, clothing. Organs, pianos, sewing machines made between 1950 and 2000.
Tools & Equipment	Hand and power tools with all parts, in good working order.	Any equipment which is dangerously heavy.
Lawn & Garden, & Seasonal	Bricks, blocks, pavers, potting and landscaping supplies, lawn mowers (completely drained), lawn tools without rust, and patio furniture. Christmas decor, artificial trees (complete, disassembled and packaged), non-functioning Christmas lights and snow removal equipment (completely drained)	Faded plastic pots, broken statuary.
Other Items	Ceiling tile sealed in original packaging, wood railing, door knobs, hinges, hardware, metal fasteners, board stock (4′ minimum), plywood (4′ x 4′ minimum).	Anything for babies or children. Clothing. Medical devices or equipment of any type.
